Shaggy's Picks - Week One

Welcome to Shaggy’s Picks. This will be the Monday feature throughout the season. Meaning I’ll have to e-mail my picks to Nick after Sunday’s night game. I think I’m gonna pick ten games per week. And I’m gonna avoid picking easy games like picking against the Jets every week. I’m also gonna keep a record of games and I got right and wrong. If I make to the end of the season with a winning record I’ll be surprised.

My week 1 picks:

• Manning and the Broncos are gonna open strong against the Ravens.
• The Bears and Bengals is gonna be close but I’m taking the Bears.
• Saints and Falcons is always a great game. There’s gonna be more than 80 points scored. I got the Saints.
• Browns over the Dolphins. That’s a hard one with all the changes both teams have made.
• Steelers are beat up on the Titans.
• I like the Lions a lot this year. They’re gonna beat the Viks.
• Seattle over Carolina. I gotta go with my boy Russell Wilson.
• Houston is gonna destroy the Chargers. Duh.

My two upsets:

• Carson Palmer is an ass clown but the Cardinals are gonna beat the Rams
• And I know I’m just being a homer but TP2 is gonna shock some people and beat the Colts.

Don’t anybody go and gamble on my picks just yet. Let’s see if I’m any good at this first.
