I have two very important things I need to say before I get
into my recap/picks:
I AM VERY CONFIDENT IN MY RBs. Yes I tried to make a trade
with Will. Yes I offered Rob Housler (with another player). But as any good
negotiator will tell you: bid low and then work towards a middle ground. WHICH
I TRIED TO DO. All these allegations are alright with me. I might lose week 1,
but I still feel like I have the strongest team. Rob Housler included.
Secondly, I think I clearly demonstrated why I’m not a Vegas
handicapper.
On to Shaggy’s Week 2 picks and recap:
Honestly, if you need the recap part then you shouldn’t be in
this league.
I said Manning was gonna open strong. But seriously, who
does this guy think he think he is? 460 yards and 7 TDs? Get a life bro. It’s
not all about football.
- “Bears and Bengals is gonna be close but I’m taking the Bears” SPOT ON
- Over 80 points scored? No. Saints still won
- Wrong on my Browns pick. How did Lamar Miller put up a goose egg? Dude drove me crazy and probably cost me my game against Nick
- Steelers-Titans. Wrong again
- How but that Peterson guy? First carry of the year goes for a 78 yard TD. Thought I was gonna ride him to win. To bad nobody else on my team decided to show up. Lamar Miller. At least I was right about the game.
- The Seahawks and Panthers did not go as I expected. Seahawks still won tho so I’ll take it
- I hate Carson Palmer. Get the ball to Housler! Yes, Rob Housler. He’s the tight end in case you were curious. Swing and a miss on this one.
- That Raiders defense is just bad bad bad. Pryor, my boy, the league leader in rush yards, looked pretty darn good. Minus that pick on the opening drive. And the other pick on the last drive. But other than that…. Yeah they’re bad.
- Texans and Chargers have to play as of the writing of this guest blog.
Shaggy’s Week 2 picks:
- Bills over Panthers
- Bears beat Vikings
- Chiefs win over Cowboys
- Ravens beat Browns
- Lions over Cardinals
- MJD is gonna have a field day with Oak’s D. Jags win
- I’m taking the 9ers. Forget Seattle being the top ranked team coming into the season. Just look how that worked out for me.
- Peyton is gonna beat up on his little bro. Broncs also beat up on Giants
- Saints over Bucs, too easy there but I’m kinda running out of games.
- And Eagles over the Bolts.
